Vegas CineFest gets underway today at Tropicana Las Vegas!








 Serving as a springboard for
many of tomorrow’s top filmmakers, the third annual Vegas Cine Fest will be
held at the all-new Tropicana Las Vegas resort and casino August 25-27.  The festival will feature premiere
screenings, Q&A sessions and themed after-parties at Club Nikki.  The three-day event will conclude with a Gala
Awards Ceremony, with awards presented to winners in the Feature Film,
Featurette, Film Shorts, Screenplay and Music Video categories.

Vegas Cine Fest was founded
in 2009 by Executive Director Philip Marcus and President Maria Bautista
Marcus. Vegas Cine Fest is a non-profit organization which has been developing
a reputation as one of the few film festival contests that provide the
assistance needed to produce the projects of writers and filmmakers.  Vegas Cine Fest shares the visions and
experiences of a select group of producers, directors and writers that have
spent years in the trenches of story development and production earning high
acclaim and developing a keen ability for filmmaking. Serving on the Advisory
Board is Producer Michel Shane (Catch Me If You Can, I-Robot), Paris-based
Writer/Director Edouard Molinaro (Oscar Nominated for La Cage Aux Folles),
Producer Marvin Lipschultz (Jan & Dean China Tour and "Glitz" at
the Copacabana Room in the Sands Hotel), Noah Hutton (Director, More to Live
For, Crude Independence) and Sita Kaulesar Sukul (Former
