Flightlinez zipline
attraction, Fremont Street Experience and The Rape Crisis Center.
All Arbor View High
School
students will ride free that day to celebrate Alyssa’s memory.
Flightlinez and the Fremont
Street Experience will donate all their revenues from zipline rides on
Wednesday, Sept. 28 to create a minimum $5,000 scholarship at Arbor View High
School in
Alyssa Otremba’s name to keep her memory alive and will donate the remainder of
the day’s proceeds to The Rape Crisis Center. “We had already been working with
The Rape Crisis Center to have our September funds benefit their worthwhile
efforts and when we heard about Alyssa’s untimely passing we were also very
committed to keeping her memory alive. All involved were happy to work together
to make the fundraising efforts on this day benefit both causes and create an
awareness of the needs in our Las Vegas community,” said Joey Vanas of
Flightlinez.
Flightlinez is committed to
serving the Las
Vegas community
by hosting charitable fundraisers throughout the year. In June, Flightlinez and
Fremont Street Experience donated nearly $18,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of
Las Vegas and have donated more than $100,000 to local charities and community
groups since launching the new charitable initiative in February.
